Seniors--- Pick up Scavenger Hunt clue sheet in the Student Services and look for college signs by classroom doors and offices to answer the scavenger hunt clues.
 Turn your completed form into Mrs. Sutherland by tomorrow.  The person with the most correct answers will receive a PRIZE!!  Winner(s) will be announced on Friday, October 31st 
Basketball Cheerleading practices and tryouts for grades 7-12th will begin on November 4, 2014 after school place to be determined.
All 7th-12th grade students interested in trying out for hockey cheerleading; there is an optional captains land practice this Thursday from 3:30-5PM.
There will be a representative here from Hibbing Community College during lunch on Thursday to meet with any interested students.
Photographers will be coming around during Advisory today to take photos of the students holding their anti-bullying signs.  If your poster is hanging up, staff you can send a couple students to the poster for a photo op.
There will be a wrestling meeting today in the auditorium during advisory for 7-12th grade students interested in being on the wrestling team or being a manager.
TRIO/Talent Search will be meeting today with 6-9th grade students during lunch in the Projects Lab, 10-11th grade students during advisory, and 12th grade on an individual basis.
Student Council will be meeting tomorrow morning at 8 AM in Mrs. Warner’s room.  Student Council will be holding a HAT DAY Friday.  All who want to wear a hat must pay $1.00 at the Front Door or Scofield Door and receive a stamp on your hand. NO STAMP, no wearing a HAT!!!!  All proceeds will be going to our Local NorthEast STUDENT COUNCIL project. 
Juniors will be taking the ASVAB test during the morning on Wednesday, Nov. 5.  Any seniors that would like to take take the test should let student services know.
There are 6 senior students who still have not paid for their T-shirt…stop in and see Mrs. Eide this week and pay. If shirts are not paid for by November 10th – She will post those students names outside her office with sad smiley face stickers!
Green Tree students will be selling small Halloween candy bags in the cafeteria during lunches on Thursday, Oct. 30th.  These bags are $.50 cents each.
Student and staff remember that we be offering voluntary influenza vaccinations.  The nasal mist or flu shot will be administered at Greenway on Friday, Nov. 7th in the Staff Development room from noon to 1:30PM.  Please pick up forms from either office or refer to the Greenway WEB site for information and to print the 2 page vaccine consent form.  The consent form must be filled out and signed by a parent or guardian for any student under the age of 18, to receive the vaccine.
Senior Picture-, baby picture, and senior quote are all due by November 13.  “Remember When's” are due by December 12.
The 2014 Coat Drive sponsored by area community churches has collected gently used coats that will be available to the public this today and tomorrow at the Methodist Churhc.  If you need more information, stop by Student Services.
Key Club and Builder's Clubbers you will be meeting today in the Staff Development room during advisory -
Thursday:  Halloween Party at Youth Center - Costume contest and pumpkin carving contest
Friday:  Trick or Treat for UNICEF,   Susan has the boxes if you did not get one at last week's meeting.  
Saturday:  Rummage Sale at the BC Youth Center
Sunday:   One Night Without a Home Cardboard Box Sleep off to kick off National Homeless and Hunger Prevention Month.   You will need to provide your own shelter, they will be judged along with your story of how you became homeless.  NOTE!  You must of done at least two outside of school volunteer projects or have a minimum of 15 volunteer Key Club hours logged to even consider attending.    You also must have your membership and permission forms in by this Wednesday and talk to Susan regarding where your individual dues are at. 
Tuesday:  November 4 - All officers will be attending the Kiwanis Noon club meeting.  You must bring a note from your parents and be doing well in the class you will be missing.   Note:  The first week in November is International Key Club Week and we will be doing all kinds of activities!
Finally - We are currently taking appointments for the Emmy Foss Memorial Blood Drive, Thursday, Nov. 13, 9-4.   Please see Phoenix Nichols, Ally Hautala, Chris Swartz, Shaylee Erdmann to get your preferred appointment time.
