Learning Academy is this week after school and students will be meeting in room 307.
Key Club and Builders Club will be meeting today. It is a working meeting, we will be cutting snowflakes for area nursing homes.
Also, right after school today Key Clubbers and Builders Club, will be meeting at the Grace House. We will do the community walk and return to the Grace House for a Soup Line meal. Dress warm with hats and gloves.
Campus Life will be meeting tonight night at Nick & Pat Shea’s at 7:30PM.
Trio/Talent Search will NOT be meeting today.
There will be a girl’s fast-pitch meeting today during advisory in the staff development room.
There will be a clay target league meeting in Mrs. Holm's room today during advisory, please bring back parent signed forms to the meeting.
Tonight we have an opportunity to hear Henry Boucha, at 6pm in the GHS Auditorium. Henry received a silver medal as a part of the US Olympic Hockey Team and played for the Detroit Red Wings, MN North Stars, and the Colorado Rockies to name a few. He is a Hockey Hall of Fame inductee and will be speaking about his life growing up in Warroad MN, and how his Ojibwa roots helped him through challenges and tragedies such as his career ending injury at the age of 26. This event is free and open to the public. And due to this event, there is NO YOGA tonight for the hockey players. Class will be held tomorrow night at the same time instead.
We will have a representative here from Vermillion College during advisory if the front lobby. On Thursday we will have a representative here at 8:15 AM in the front lobby from NDSU for any interested students.
Knowledge Bowl students: You will be having practice tomorrow morning at 7:45AM in Mr. Floersheim’s room. Please plan on being there with your team.
Wrestling practice will be in Nashwauk all week. Students can ride bus 68 to Nashwauk and a bus will be available to bring students back at 5:30 to GHS.
Any Junior or Senior student interested in attending Engineering Day at ICC Dec 4th should
notify Mrs. Warner asap. There are only 13 spots left.
Itasca Community College would like to invite you to a presentation on 3-D Printing this Thursday, Nov. 20th from 3:30-4:30 in the Chucker Auditorium at ICC. Presenters will from Global Manufactoring and Stratiasys. Come hear how 3 D Printing is being used.
