Sophomores:  This Friday is you class ring delivery date.  Josten’s will be in the front lobby from 8-8:30 for all ring deliveries.  Balances must be paid in full at the time of pick up unless other arrangements have been made.  Again, that is this Friday.
Crystal Ball is December 13th.  Dance contracts are available in Student Services for anyone that would like to bring a guest from another school.  Also students, all detention hours must be made up in order to attend this dance. If you have any outstanding hours you can make them up Mondays or Wednesdays after school in the new health room. Please see Mr. Mell if you have any questions.
Art Guild will be selling garters starting today before school in the art room.  Cost is $8 and you must pay before you pick out a garter.  You will also be able to pick out your own ribbon and embellishments.
Pre-sales for the 9-12 grade yearbook will begin tomorrow during
lunch!  Buy your yearbook now for $45.  After this month the cost goes
up to $60.  See your yearbook staff during lunch to reserve yours

tomorrow!
Campus Life will be meeting tomorrow night at 7:30 at Seri Geisler’s.
Students and Staff:  If you are interested in purchasing items (hats, scarves, mugs, blankets) from the Junior class fundraiser please turn in the order forms and money by 2:30 tomorrow in Student Services.
Key club and Builders Club will meet this Wednesday.  It is a working meeting and we will be working on several items...posters and cutting snowflakes to donate to the nursing home.
Knowledge Bowl practice for 9-12 students will be held this week on THURSDAY morning beginning at 7:45 AM. Remember to be on time and that your whole team needs to attend practice at least once per week to be eligible to attend meets. The first Knowledge Bowl meet for this year is already this Saturday at Cloquet.

Barb Matanich will be in today to help seniors with scholarship applications.
Upward Bound will be meeting with students today.
During lunch today, we will have a representative here from the US ARMY to meet with any interested students.
ICC will be hosting an open campus visit day on today from 11:00AM- 1:30PM.  You can tour the campus, talk with counselors, faculty or coaches, and enjoy a complimentary lunch.  You must pre-register in order to attend, and registration information is available in Student Services.
BSU is again offering winter volleyball clinics.  This is for all students in grades 6-12.  The first clinic will be Sunday, Jan. 11th and is specifically designed for outside hitters.  Details and times of the clinics, as well as registration forms are available in Student Services.
Free dental care will be available Feb 6 & 7th thanks to dentists that volunteer their time to participate in the "Give Kids a Smile" program.  Dentists recommend an appointment for cleaning your teeth two times a year. Taking care of your teeth contributes to your good health and your looks!  Please see Nurse Buchert for details.  And speaking of teeth, if you by any chance left your retainer in Mrs. Kleffman’s class, please come to student services and pick it up.
Good luck to the boys hockey team as they take on Duluth Denfeld at home tonight, to the girls basketball team as they play Virginia also at home, to the girls hockey team as they play Eveleth-Gilbert on the road, and finally to the boys basketball team as they head to Mesabi East to take on the Giants.
