Tomorrow is the Holiday Knowledge Bowl Classic happening at 7:30 in the Staff Development room.  Staff vs. Knowledge Bowl students…its game on!

 

Upward Bound has been cancelled for today.

 

Jess Wilcowski will be in Thursday in the critical thinking area to help seniors with scholarship applications.  Our first application deadline is Jan 15th, less than a month away.

 

"Thank you to all the Freshman who have been selling chocolate bars as a part of our fundraiser. Finish your first box and come get a second by Thursday in Ms. Sperling's room, and you will win a pizza party at lunch in January!"

FCA will be meeting tomorrow morning in Mr. Adamson’s room at 7:45.

 

Candy Canes will be for sale during Middle School and High School Lunch .50 each today through Thursday.

Campus Life will be meeting this Wednesday at 7:30PM at Quin Kasell’s.

 

Students:  Just a reminder to all of you that there will not be any open gym starting this coming Sunday, the 23rd, through Christmas break.  Open gym will start up again Jan. 6th.

 

Any seventh grader that has not picked up their clay project from first quarter may do so at any time. Please do so before break.

 

Still need a special gift for someone?  We are down to 3 Rafiki bracelets.  So if you would like to get a chance to have one of these for $10, stop by Student Services and pick one up.  All proceeds go toward helping families in 3rd world countries.

 

Students applying for the “Triple A Award” must have their applications in to JP no later than Thursday, at 9AM.

 

This Thursday, will be Hat Day for United Way.  Pay $1 at either the Scofield Lobby or critical thinking area and you can wear your hat all day.  It will also be Ugly Sweater day…and that is free!!

 


On Thursday, January 10th the Greenway/Grand Rapids Robotics Team will be hosting a dodgeball tournament at 6:00 PM in the Greenway High School Gym. This is open to High School and Middle School students. It will be $5 per team member with a maximum of 10 students per team.

 

Good luck to the boys’ hockey team as they head to Eveleth tonight to take on the Golden Bears.  To the girls’ hockey team as they are in action at the IRA Civic Center to play Duluth Denfeld.  Also, good luck to the boys’ basketball team as they head west to face Deer River and finally good luck to the girls’ basketball team as they go against the Mesabi East Giants at home tonight.
