The Greenway Student Council is hosting a teddy bear toss at the Greenway vs Moorhead hockey game this Friday night.  We are looking for gently used or new stuffed animals.  All donations will donated to children over the Christmas Holiday.  All teddy bears will be thrown during the first intermission.

 

"A reminder to all Freshman to turn in the money from their first box of World's Finest Chocolates to Ms. Sperling today and you will win pizza at lunch. Anyone who wants to sell another box over the holiday break can come and get one!"

All juniors will be meeting in the auditorium for a Tech Ed presentation.

 

Jess Wilcowski will be here today in the critical thinking area to help seniors with scholarship applications.  Our first application deadline is less than a month away.

 

The field trip for Health Care Careers to Bigfork Valley Hospital is scheduled for Friday, January 11, 2019. Arrival time at the facility is 9:45 and departure is 1:30.

 

Candy Canes will be for sale during Middle School and High School Lunch .50 each today

Students:  Just a reminder to all of you that there will not be any open gym starting this coming Sunday, the 23rd, through Christmas break.  Open gym will start up again Jan. 6th.

 

Any seventh grader that has not picked up their clay project from first quarter may do so at any time. Please do so before break.

 

Still need a special gift for someone?  We have had additional Rafiki bracelets delivered. Stop by Student Services with your $10 and get one while you can.

 

Students applying for the “Triple A Award” must have their applications in to JP no later than 9 today

 

Today will be Hat Day for United Way.  Pay $1 at Student Services


On Thursday, January 10th the Greenway/Grand Rapids Robotics Team will be hosting a dodgeball tournament at 6:00 PM in the Greenway High School Gym. This is open to High School and Middle School students. It will be $5 per team member with a maximum of 10 students per team.  Sign up in Student Services.

 

Good luck to the girls’ Lightening as they take on Duluth Marshall tonight at the IRA. Good luck to the girls’ basketball team as they take on Eveleth tonight at home and to the boys’ basketball team as they head to Grand Rapids as they take on the Thunderhawks.
