Pep Club will be meeting tomorrow morning at 8 AM in the auditorium.


Seniors:  Barb Matanich will be in today to help with scholarship applications.  Look for her in the critical thinking area.


There will be practice tonight for all Knowledge Bowl students who can make it in Mr. Floershiem’s room until 4:00. Our first Senior High Knowledge Bowl meet of the season is next Wednesday, January 16, so students should communicate with teachers now that they will be missing that day & getting any make up work or tests arranged.

"This is the last week to buy World's Finest Chocolate Bars from the Freshman class. Freshman, a reminder that your fundraising is due Friday, January 11 to Ms. Sperling."


Any students who have Crystal Ball photos may send them to Mrs. Levar or one of the yearbook editors, Rose Carpenter or Michaela Stram. They might appear in the yearbook!



10th, 11th & 12th Graders:  On Tuesday, Jan 22nd we will be offering a “Zapping the ACT class” here at GHS.  This class will run from 8:30 – 2 PM and will give you excellent skills for taking the ACT’s which will be happening in April for all 11th graders. The cost is $30 and you must register in Student Services if you would be interested in this great opportunity.

Our next blood drive is this Thursday from 9am - 1 pm.  If you are 16 years of age, you must have a parental permission slip filled out prior to donation.  They are available in Student Services.  You also will need to register in Student Services.


The field trip for Health Care Careers to Bigfork Valley Hospital is scheduled for this Friday. You will be departing GHS at 8:45. We want to know who will be attending, so please sign up in Student Services.


Good luck to the girls’ varsity basketball team as they take on Fond du Lac tonight at home. Game time for the varsity girls is 5PM.  Also, to the boys’ basketball team as they also play Fond du Lac tonight at home.   And finally, good luck to the boys hockey teams as they head to Silver Bay to take on Two Harbors.  Hockey players are dismissed at 2PM.
