Seniors:  Jessica Wilcowski will be in today to help with scholarship applications.

 

Who wants burgers? Come to Culvers to support the music department on Monday, February 11th from 5-8pm. All proceeds will go to help raise money for our trip to New York. Have a good meal and support our awesome music students!

 

Knowledge Bowl practice will be Friday after school.

 

FFA members please stop and see Ms. Maninga if you can work at the hockey game this Friday.  Students: get that spare change in and vote for the teacher you would like to see get a pie in the face.  Buckets will be up in the mornings, during lunch and throughout the day in Ms. Maninga’s room.

 

9-12 Graders: Voting is open for Greenie Gambol King and Queen until 3 PM Thursday.  Beefcake volleyball is tonight at 7:30. Tubing at Mt. Itasca will begin at 9:15 following the hockey game Friday night and cost is $10.  Waivers are available in Student Services and must be filled out and returned to Jen.

 

7-12th Grade girls interested in playing fastpitch: Please meet with Katie Sertich at her table during lunch today.

 

You have a chance to be in Raider Box at the Boys Hockey Game Friday.  You can by having a team of 4 who brings in the most personal hygiene items to the Student Services off by Friday. You will enjoy a free pass to the game, a special seat there, and a gift certificate to the concession stand.

 

The Middle School Valentines’ Day Dance is this Friday from 7-9PM in the Multi-purpose room.  Cost is $5.  Only Greenway students are allowed to attend.

This Friday at the hockey game, there will be a special Teddy Bear Toss.  Bring a new or gently used stuffed animal to toss on the ice during the 1st intermission of the varsity game.  Stuffed animals will be donated to the Kylar Glen, an end of life home operated by the Itasca Hospice Foundation.

 

Good luck to the boys’ hockey team as they head to the Ice Box of the Nation to take on the Int’l Falls Broncos.  You are dismissed at 2 PM today.  Also, good luck to the girls’ basketball team as they play in LaPorte today.  Ladies you are dismissed at 2:35 today and good luck to the girls 7th & 8th Grade as they take on Northland today on the road. And finally, good luck to our Lightning team as they are in section quarter finals at 7 PM in Grand Rapids.
