TRIO/Talent Search will be meeting with students today in the Projects Lab.  6th-8th graders will meet during lunch, 9th grade will also meet during their lunch, 10 & 11th graders will meet during advisory, and 12th graders should check in as it works in your schedule.
We will have a representative here from Lake Superior College today during lunch to meet with any interested students.
GHS:  We will be conducting Adopt a Family Holiday Food Basket fundraiser to help fight hunger in our local communities. All proceeds will go to the Second Harvest Food Bank in Grand Rapids.  Look for signs for where your class collection areas are.  An early spirit point is on the line.
 
Student council will be selling rafiki bracelets for $10.00 during lunch.  These bracelets send money to women in other countries, primarily Africa to help support their families.
 
Remember to turn in your Christmas letters for William to Student Services and your letters for the “Wounded Warrier” thank a vet program to Mrs. Breitling-Gray.
Dance contracts for Crystal Ball need to be turned in by Thursday.  Picture envelopes are also available in Student Services.  Pictures will be from 5-7PM in the gym.
Girls Fast-pitch will be meeting this Thursday at 8AM in the Staff Development Room.  Please bring any coupon book money that you may still have to this meeting.
The custodial staff would like you to know that any items left on the lost and found tables will be disposed of over Christmas break.  Students, check both the table on the 2nd floor and the one by the cafeteria for any items that may belong to you.
Campus Life will be meeting tonight at Bay & Titan Zuehlke’s house at 7:30.
Knowledge Bowl practice for all teams this week will be both before AND after school on Thursday. As a reminder, all teams are expected at least once each week to be eligible to attend competitions.
Key Club will be having it's annual Holiday Bake Sale today at lunch.  
Candy Cane Grams will also be sold starting this week at the Bake Sale.... Candy Grams are 50 each or 3 for $1.
Pre-sales for the 9-12 grade yearbook are during lunch! Seniors, remember that your “Remember When’s” for yearbook are due this Friday.  The forms to write Remember When's are available in senior advisory classes, and they can be turned in to Mrs. Olson or any yearbook staff member by Friday.
The tenth graders on the dance committee need to meet in Mrs. Harbin's room at 10:30 during advisory today.
Garters are still on sale this week for Crystal Ball and being sold before school or during lunch by Art Guild by Karley Akkanen.  Cost is only $8.00 and must be paid for when you order one.  

Here are the dates for the Fill-The-Stands Nights for the 14-15 Winter Sports Season:  Dec. 19 Boys Hockey     Jan. 9 Boys Basketball     Jan. 29 Girls Basketball
5th & 6th Grade Students should report to the auditorium after 1st hour (9:10) for the WE day presentation put on by our Student Council.  7th & 8th Graders will be dismissed via the intercom for this presentation.
And students:  Just a reminder that you should not be parking in the lot directly across from the school.  Thank you for your cooperation.
