Juniors will be participating in a Career Fair today.  The bus will depart at 9:15 at the Northwest Doors, down by the FACS room.  You will be returning at 11:45 but you will be eating lunch at ICC.
Knowledge Bowl practice will be tomorrow morning at 7:45 and Thursday morning at 7:30 in Mr. Floersheim’s room.  Your next meet is this Thursday in Mr. Iron and you must attend at least 1 practice before you will be allowed to attend.
Any student who is still interested in the clay target team, please stop by the 2nd floor computer lab Wednesday during advisory.
The girl’s basketball banquet this weekend is for 9-12th grade only.
Key Club and Builder's club has a mandatory meeting, tomorrow during advisory.  We need to vote on next year’s officers, so we need all members present at the beginning of meeting.  Today's Key Club Executive meeting has been cancelled for tonight and rescheduled for tomorrow right after school at the Youth Center. Important agenda, all new and old officers should be in attendance.  The Bovey Coleraine Youth Center will be closed tonight.  We will be open tomorrow.  Tomorrows activities include:  ART, oil pastels drawing/shading; Cooking:  Italian meatball and mozzarella stuffed baked potatoes.  Baking:  homemade buttermilk doughnuts.  There will be a Key Club and Builders Club Executive Committee meetings tomorrow night.
Seniors: this Friday is the deadline for ICC scholarships.  Barb Matanich will be in today to help you finish up those applications.  March 13th is the deadline for most scholarships.
Campus Life will be at Austin Maasch’s this Wednesday at 7:30.
The 10th Grade Prom Committee would like to invite students 9-12 on Friday, March 13th, from 9:00- midnight, to a morp at GHS.  Morp is backwards prom!  Dress crazy and wild, the theme is randomness.  Cost is $3 for the dance and $2 for dodgeball.  Sign-ups for the dodgeball tournament are on the bulletin board outside of Student Services.
Prom and the 8th grade formal are just around the corner!! Stop in Mrs. Eide’s room before or after school to see the selection of BRAND NEW Dresses – both long and short!!  Short dresses are $20 and full length dresses are $30.  These dresses were graciously donated by Cheryl Seeley from Jessica’s Bridal!! The money from these dresses goes to fund the PRIDE cart you see in the lunch room!!  Let your friends know – as they dresses are also available to the public!!  Prom sign-ups are during lunch and the cost is $30 per person.  Garters are for sale for $8 in Mrs. Kleffman’s room.
 
Book club is today, Thursday, and Friday, right after school. We are reading The Birchbark House.
Attention Student and Staff:  Thursday, March 12 from 9-4:30 is our next GHS Blood Drive.  Sign up with any Key Club member.
Calling all Juniors males:  GHS has an opportunity to have a representative from our school attend “Boys State” which is sponsored by the American Legion to help young men become more active in government with an emphasis on practical politics.  Stop by and see Mr. Peterson for more information.
Starting this week, every Tuesday and Friday morning during March, GreenTree will be selling decorative window clings in the upper Scofield building from 8-8:20..  The clings run in price from $1 to $5.
 
  • 5th-8th Grade Raiders.....You have until this Friday to order your yearbook at the early bird price of $13.  The price goes up after that.
